Background

Peter Marks has been a part of the Bungie community, both inside and out, for more than ten years. Myth players knew him as BNA Mordia. Halo PC players knew him as Lud. Bungie fans of Halo know Peter's work, Hang Em High and other popular levels. Unfortunately, Peter has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. He is doing what he can to fight it, with doctors pulling every trick in the book to defeat it. With his physical being in the care of professionals, close friends and family have been giving him much love and support to give him a much needed lift in spirits. That brings us to this page. Kind words and well wishes can do nothing but help. As a member of the Bungie community and as people in general, your well wishes can go a long way to letting Peter know he is not alone, that there are others who do care. So if you remember Peter, enjoy playing his levels, or if you'd just like to let him know you're pulling for him... this is the place to add your comments.

Good job.
A month ago, I asked Louis from Halo.Bungie.Org what happened to him. Louis said that he's ok. Good job Peter.

WTF People?
This isn't my first comment for you. But I'm just showing that I care because it's been a while since you've received a comment. And I just pray that you're still with us. I don't even know you personally, but the fact that you have had some kind of effect on my life is more than enough of a reason to care. Let's do it together, Peter.

To Peter Marks
Thanks for being part of the kickass community called Bungie. Through hard work, sweat, tears, and Ling-Ling's heads, you've nearly completed your task of world domination. Don't give up, Peter. Remember, you're part of Bungie, you're part of one of the greatest video game companies, devoted not to profit, but to entertain the world with your passion. You're in it to see the joyful faces of people and gamers alike as they pop in Halo's disk into their XBox. You're in it to see everyone grouped around in Bungie's meeting center, laughing as they died playing the game they programed.

You're in it to launch your enemies into the sun with a gigantic medieval slingshot! ;D

But furthermore, you're in it because you were living your dream and loving every moment of it. Never stop, never give in. Keep striving forward until the day Bungie launches the first heretic into the sun. Keep striving until the world is under one banner.

One united banner. One grand banner.

Bungie's banner. Bungie's flag will shine brilliantly across the world, and you, the Bungie community, will be forever remembered as one of the revolutionary companies that changed the entire gaming genre.

Don't give up, not yet. Not while the dream is still out of reach. Remember, everyone's watching.

Watching to see if you have the confidence to finish what you started.

Dipti Panda is the most sexiest lady on earth. She teaches english in our school. she appears naked in front of all the
students of our school. she lives in Friends Colony,Cuttack.
But her husband and son are not aware of this.she opens her bra and panties quickly and starts dancing. Many students have caught her on video camera.Shame on this world

Progress
Peter is my son. I want to let the community know how much his family appreciates the support, prayers, letters and good vibes you have poured out to him. His battle with cancer is not done, so please don't stop! But there is wonderful progress and the cancer is being defeated. He is getting further treatment this month and we pray that this regimen will finally help him defeat this disease. Thank you all so very much. Terry the Mom

From a guy that loves your work, and wanted to show some support
Get better man, in addition to giving me hours upon hours of fun, you seem like a genuinely awesome guy. Cancer can be beaten, it'll be hard, but never give up or start feeling sorry for yourself... Keep fighting. Wishing you all the best. : )

pulling for you
Hey Peter, I heard from Grupp. We're thinking about you and pulling for you. If you need some laughter treatment, you can think about how thoroughly you and Case kicked my butt in Quake I back in the day... and how you introduced me to Army of Darkness! My email address is pedro@tastytronic.net -- the spammers already have it so I don't mind giving it out. God bless, man!

Hi Peter,

I'm sorry that I just heard about this now from Ward. I've often wondered how you are in the past few years. I see this is mostly a site where your gaming fans are writing to you, but it is the only place I know to write you.
I'll be praying for you that whatever happens you will have peace.
If there is an email list that gets messages about your treatment, etc., I'd like to be on it. I have the same email address I've had for the last 7 years, and I suppose although my email address doesn't show on this page you have access to it.

Oh my god..........
Peter, you are the one suffering. You are the one that shouldn't be suffering. You will fight this, all by yourself, alone. It may seem scary ( Like Myth ) but you'll pull through. And you'll be able to see the end of the Halo series ( Halo 2026502832610583465 in the year 14651659826586358625865832465 ) No joke.

Mordia
You have been with us for years, through the good and the bad.
We aren't letting go of you yet, we are all here to give you hope and to let you know that we all love you. Even those, like myself, who don't know you too well.
You'll always be in our hearts, that being WHEN you're time comes which hopefully won;t be for ages. Right now, you're sticking around to fight this cancer. You'll be hear, to finish the fight.
#4427 - Stephen Hughes - 10/28/2007 - 12:24
Like the song says...
There is a song by the group Blood, Sweat and Tears called "Go Down Gamblin'"...And it basically says that no matter what the odds, keep fighting, because in the end, you could win it all...Sorta like playing one of Conner's Maniacal creations with Nuclear Powered Wights...You keep fighting, and in the end, you will come out on top...Thinking about you and yours. Get better, and see you on the field soon...

To Mordia
Mord, I know we havent spoken much, but back in the day, when my space bar was broken. You, out of the blue, asked what my address was so you could send me a new keyboard.

I know it's not that big of a deal, but you did me a solid and I don't forget things like that, especially from someone who I respect. I sincerely hope you pull odds and come through this, there aren't enough people like you in the world as it is.

Peace be with you,
